THANK YOU XXXX

THANK YOU for all your emails, comments, prayers and good wishes. They have been of great comfort. It's not been an easy time for our family over recent months. Knowing that others are praying too is comforting. You can never have too many prayers for someone in need of them.

These simple little flowers help brighten up the house.

Larry appreciating the anemones too

On Saturday, we bought a piece of furniture for the lounge which we have to collect with a van as it would not fit in to the car. I also went to Niki's shop with Miss P as she had not been yet. Miss P happily looked through buttons, vintage toys and dresses. Even asking Niki questions about some of the things she found interesting. After we left, Miss P told me that it was better than she had expected, this vintage shop had things that she likes!

You've probably guessed that I came back with some vintage pretties.... More in my next post.

On Sunday, we did some work on the house (for a change...) Alan painted the window frames & windowsill of my workroom off white. I am so glad to see the back of the dark wood. Much brighter now.

A bientôt!

Flowers have a way of lifting your spirits don't they?
I wonder what the antiques of the future will be....when Miss P is all grown up!

Hi Isabelle,
I hope that there will be good news for your family soon - I am thinking of you.

It was lovely to see you and Miss P on Saturday, and it must be such a delight for you that P is starting to share your passion for vintage.

So pleased that you've bought that lovely piece of furniture, as I think it had your name on it! I've been to see Anne today and she mentioned you and Miss P.
Good luck with the decorating... I'm sure you can't wait for the fun bit of adding the furniture and accessories.

Have a lovely week,
Niki x

Soooo nice to see the back of dark wood sometimes, the people who lived here before us seemed to like ginger wood the best, I think they used fence panel paint or something but we are slowly eliminating it ;)

Miss P sounds very cool! My girls are young enough (just about) not to moan about shops and things but I expect it won't be long before they realise they'd rather be elsewhere!

Oh great I was about to send you an email today and let you know I am thinking and praying for you and your family still.
Miss P must be the most enormous comfort to you. Having a beautiful little girl around is such a blessing. And Larry is a very handsome boy. He is the masculine match for my Smuchie. I will post a photo of my girl on my Blog one day.
Take Care dearest Isabelle. xx
