Weekend at the fair

On Sunday afternoon, I went to an Antiques Fair at the Bath & West Showground - Shepton Mallet to have a break from decorating and to do a spot of bargain hunting of course. Although there wasn't as much choice as usual, I still managed to come back with a few things.

I absolutely love the colours and floral pattern

Vintage buttons

Vintage brooches and earrings

Vintage glass vanity set and millinery flowers

A pretty plate

Parasol made with such a beautiful piece of fabric

Klein postcards

A Vintage silk dress from Lizzie's stall

Bark cloth curtain arrived in the post last week from Louise Loves

I have a busy week ahead with my work and finishing off my workroom/office. Pictures will follow sometime next week hopefully.

A bientôt!

Isabelle X

Wish I'd known that this was on as we had my sister-in-law staying and she loves anything like that - it would have been somewhere to take her! looks as if you found some great things and sometimes it's better not to have too much choice - makes deciding easier!

Thank you for your lovely message, I'm ok, hope you you're fine too and had a lovely holiday in France..we do not have a special cake for the Epiphany..we usually have too much food at Christmas!

Well done Isabelle, some lovely finds. Great to see you and Alan on Saturday, shame Miss P wasn't there for the Munchkin. It was a bit quiet at the antiques fair wasn't it? I thought the curtain from Louise was lovely and am so glad to see it went to a good home. I just received some fabrics from Donna today so I am on a "fabric high"! Good luck with the decorating.

Hi Isabelle
We were at the Antiques fair on Sunday afternoon too - we probably walked past each other with our heads down browsing items!
I bought a few little things, but I prefer the flea market as there is a greater range in my price bracket ;-)
Your purchases look lovely - I especially like the green/floral vase.
Happy days to you,

Dear Isabelle, you have such divine taste. I'm sure all those treasures burst into joyful song as you were carrying them home to have found such a good owner. I love the dress, the jewellery, the postcards, the parasol, the pretty plate... all of it I guess!
Can't wait to see your photos when you post them. Make sure you take time for you as well if you can! Easier said than done. My Daisy starts big school tomorrow. I shall miss her badly. I couldn't do my usual blog post today but I'll be back on Friday hopefully. It was nice to see your lovely things.
Take Care. xx
