The BEES need our HELP!

The number of bees has seriously declined! Click here to find out why and how it affects us all. It's not just about getting less honey...Approximately one third of what we eat is pollinated by bees! The website gives advice on how we can HELP!

Among the supporters is the Women's Institute, their campaign is called SOS for honeybees

PLEASE take a moment to have a look at both links
. We NEED bees!

THANK YOU

A bientôt!

Hi Isabelle,
A very worthy post as bees are a lot more important than a lot of people realise and we cannot afford to lose them!
Thank you for the lovely comment you left me; I hope that you get your dream in Devon one day as it is such a lovely place! x

Intersting video. I hadn't realized the problem. I got stung 2 times this summer so they must be on the attack! ;-)

I will go to the website. I care more about the problem than the stupid little stingers I got... Thanks Isabelle!!

Hello Isabelle,
That is a pretty scary link to read. It's horrible to think overuse of chemical sprays might have contributed. If we affect one species so badly it can only impact on us. I don't know what the bee situation is in Australia but I will try to find out. Enjoy your weekend. xx

I find it a little difficult to believe bees are in decline... they've been an abundance of them in my area. It's amazing though how they affect other horticultrual life.
