Vintage shopping

Following on from my previous post, here are some of the things that I bought from Niki's shop. It is hard to go there without coming out empty handed, there are so many beautiful things to tempt you....

I bought a further three pale pink roses as I have an idea of what I'd like to do with them.

I love these colours

I haven't decided yet in which room this picture will go.

The box in itself is so pretty.

This beautiful tablecloth with pink edging

During the week I received some fabric which I recently bought online

Late 19th century beautiful wide satin ribbon.

Vintage towelling fabric

Beautiful blue cabbage rose fabric

Vintage Sanderson curtains

The piece of furniture I spoke of in my last post is being picked up tonight, so no pictures just yet.

VINTAGE FAIR NEWS FLASH: A new fair is being organised by Clare from Daisy Darling (Sorry had trouble adding link) and Lizzie. It's called The Vintage Bazaar for more information, please click on the link.

You always have the most beautiful things to show us. The Carlton Ware box is beautiful, I think you are very lucky to have that, it is the first one I have ever seen.

You have been busy, Isabelle! Some lovely goodies there. My sister and I have lots of Carlton Ware as you know, she particularly collects the butter dishes and spoon/knife sets and has a whole display cabinet full. There are various boxes, all so pretty. She is currently designing a tapestry based on the box lid like yours. Hope you have a good week.

Love the things you bought and also that you gave yourself permission to get them! I am a rubbish shopper - suffer too much from indecisiveness and guilt and rarely have a good shop...

Love Charlotte

Hi Isabelle,
Lovely to see you and Miss P again...thank you for your purchases - I love how you have photographed everything. I'm looking forward to seeing what your plans are for the chiffon roses.

And the silk ribbon with the rose baskets that you bought on-line is gogeous.

Good luck with the decorating,
