FUN at the FAIR!

This is the third time that I have been to the Vintage and Handmade Fair in Chipping Sodbury and once again, it did not disappoint! I really enjoy visiting this fair. It's not just the selection of beautiful items available to tempt you , it's also a chance of catching up with some lovely like minded people. It's no surprise to say that I had a great time there.

Here is a glimpse of some of the stalls. Not all my photos came out well, so sorry if some stalls are not featured... (Warning, lots of photos! ;-))

A peak at some of the things I bought at the fair...

Recycled basket from Amanda (Shabby Chick)

Hair band made by Viv (Hen's teeth), I love the detail and colours. I spotted these hair bands on one of Viv's previous posts and was really hoping to find one today. I tried some on and they were the perfect fit. A little hesitation between two of them but Viv's daughter kindly helped me choose the right one for me.

Greeting card by Hen (HenHouse)

I bought these beautiful prints from Jayne (Country Cottage Chic)

I will add some links over the weekend but thought I would let you have a look at the photos asap.

Don't forget that the Vintage and Handmade Textile Fair will be held on Saturday 3rd July 2010, details available here

Have a lovely weekend!

A bientôt!

Isabelle,

Oh wow that fair looks so amazing, I'm so jealous I wasn't there!!! I spotted the Hen House and Nostalgia at No.1 in your photographs. Everything is so pretty, girly and vintage, I want it all! Roughly how many stands/displays were there? Is there a website or blog for the fair? Sorry for all the questions.

All things nice...

Thanks for the tour. A warning about 'lots of pics' can only be good!
For the first time, I think I could actually recognise some bloggers' stalls from the items on sale.

Oh it was lovely, wish I could come to these - have never been to one, they just don't do them in my area. How exciting too to meet Hens Teeth, I love her work, I bet she was interesting to chat with. Your slide is beautiful - it's just the kind of thing I love. I am going back to look at the pics again! I think in a place like that it would take a whole day to look at everything properly. Hope you enjoy your finds. p.s. didn't know about the Cumbria museum you mentioned on your comment to me - too far away but oneday would like to go and see. Thanks for telling.

Elderberry-Rob said...

oops, I am silly - it wasn't you who told me about the Beatrix Potter Museum in cumbria - but having mentioned it maybe you would like to know too!
