The things we most cherish...

I love that dress, my daughter wore it when she was 2 years
old. She looked so sweet in it!

I am in a middle of a big de-cluttering and spring clean. Whilst sorting things out, I came across some of my daughter's drawings which I added to other pictures displayed in the house or saved in a 'special' box. They are precious works of art which mean so much. I have uploaded a selection of them to share with you.

A lovely heart note Phoebe gave me.

Hi Isabelle

I didn't realise you'd begun to blog. Brilliant. Shall keep popping back to see how you're getting on.

It was lovely to meet you. What a day you had - Shepton and then going on to Bath. Hope to see you again at Shepton although I won't be there again until June.

Hi Isabelle,
What a great post. I come across things like this and remember when my daughter was so young, I have a booklet with coupons she made good for a free dinner (made by her), foot rub, etc. Maybe I should take her up on it now? Your daughter's photos are beautiful. How quick they grow up!
A bientôt!

Salut Isabelle

I think your lovely Phoebe's drawings are enchanting and I have a special fondness for the rabbit family!
These drawings are very precious indeed.
My father kept every sketch and Birthday card I ever made which I recently discovered... It was wonderful to see them again after all these years.
A bientôt..

Isabelle ~ the little dress is so adorable! As are the special drawings that you have kept. My gorgeous girl is only 3 and I cannot part with any of her offerings made at pre-school (I think I will have to move to a bigger house to accommodate them all eventually!)

Your daughter looks so sweet and I love the bunny drawing...

Hi Isabelle,
Thanks for your kind comments on my blog - I think we were sharing the same wavelengths when we wrote our posts about our baby's clothes and drawings. They are always going to be special, aren't they?
Phoebe looks a sweetie-pie! And what an artist she is!
Hope you are having a lovely weekend. (We've been into Wells today, but I didn't see Carol in the gardens with her harp. The cathedral bells were ringing, so I think they may have drowned her out anyway ;-))

Thank you so much for your visit to my blog today (and etsy shop)! =) You have a BEAUTIFUL blog! And your daughter is absolutely adorable! I have an 8 year old little girl, too. And does she ever love to draw! They'd probably make great friends if we didn't live on opposite sides of the Atlantic! =) I've added my name to your followers list... I will be back regularly!
