Oooh! I just logged on to check something and have found your new post and the award passed to me - Thank You so Much! I shall start thinking...
What great choices you have for the things you love - I agree with many of them but in particular Afternoon Tea (my most favourite celebration!) and Morris Minors! My perfect Morris Minor would be cream, with red leather seats and either a convertable top or a Traveller. I do love the woodwork on a Traveller....! Have a super weekend Isabelle! Maybe we'll do afternoon tea in Wells one day?! Best wishes

Congratulations on your awards. I love the faux fur coat, very glamourous.

I was lucky enough to meet one of Grace Kelly's biographers a year or two ago and get a signed copy of the book.

I really wish I'd been able to visit the exhibition in Monico last year.

Sweet Isabelle, thank you for thinking of me. I'm humbled. Being a new blogger, I feel like I'm still sort of "getting my legs" or "earning my wings" or something along those lines.

Your photos are great. My husband and I have a desire to visit the UK. Maybe someday!

Hi Victoria
Thanks for your lovely comments. It was a fantastic exhibition, I was there in August 2007. I am hoping it will come to England so that I may see it all over again. How nice to have met the biographer, I would have found that really interesting being a fan of Grace Kelly. Look out for my Grace Kelly post coming soon! I used to live down there as a child and met Grace Kelly in the 1970's. Have liked her ever since.
Take care

I feel transported to such a warm and loving place everytime. I love all your loves too. I'll have to try and see the movie "The Songs of Bernadette" and maybe someday get a chance to go to Bruges, Belgium and try some of those delicious chocolates.
Hugs

Dear Isabelle, I´m very pleased to meet you and to discover your lovely ´vintage´ pages! :)
I write my first comment on this post here, because I live near Bruges (it´s only 10 minutes by car) and when I was a child I´ve seen that film about Saint Bernadette as well and I still remember the black & white scenes. Now I´m going to browse through your blog... :)

(I tried several times to post my comment, but impossible with my Google account; so I try the ´anonymous´ way...)

Well, that´s strange, I can get in here as an anonymous, but not as Something White/Marjolijn.

Wow Carole you met Grace Kelly, now that is really something!

Let's both keep our fingers crossed that the have an exhibition in the UK we can visit.

I love the story that Grace had Chanel design one of their classic bags in a rabbit shape for her daughter. Oh to be a princess.

Hi Isabelle

Thankyou for passing on the award to me, that was so nice of you. Several of your favourite things are mine too. I notice you mentioned the Helford and I wondered where you'd been in particular as I used to live between St. Keverne and Coverack when I was younger. Glad to have found your blog and I shall regularly revisit.

Hi Isabelle

Thanks v much for your comment, glad you like the green bedroom! I couldn't resist a bit of colour in the girls' rooms and it's worked out well so far :)

Am just going to join myself up as a follower on your blog, not sure why I haven't before as it's so lovely. I really like your pictures from the day at Shepton Mallet and you have such a beautiful home. Is that a Caroline Zoob pic on your wall I see below?

Oh Isabelle, I have so much to say about the things you love but not enough time or space!
What I really want to say the most is that we have something you 'almost' love: a Morris Minor car - almost because 'Betsy' is blue!
She is lovely!
Jim has her stored and has now brought her out to work on as we will soon be using her every day as our family car.
We are all very excited about this!
