Clovelly Court Gardens - Devon

After leaving Donna's house, we drove a short distance to Clovelly. Our first stop was Clovelly Court Gardens, a classic example of a Victorian kitchen walled garden.

I was very much taken in by the beauty of these gardens. It was like stepping back in time.

Enjoy the tour...

Can you see the sea in the distance?

Although the photos give you an idea of what to expect, you have to be there to experience the atmosphere. Alan and I couldn't believe how lucky we were to have the gardens to ourselves. Probably because it was the end of the day, the gardens closed 40 minutes after we left.

My next post will be about our steep walk downhill into Clovelly Village.

A bientôt!

Your French sofa from the previous post is absolutely stunning! As the penalty sign in the post before that.
