TEA TOWEL LOVE!
I am a big fan of tea towels! Over the years I have built up quite a collection. Some of them are over 70 years old and have been handed down the generations on the Belgian side of my family. I find tea towels so versatile, drying washing up of course but the "special" ones I use as a little table cloth, a little curtain, making cushions or simply to add a decorative touch to the kitchen.
You really cannot have too many tea towels!
I have acquired another three this week from All Tea Towels, they have a fantastic and varied selection and postage within UK is FREE! It was hard making a choice and I feel sure I'll be tempted back to that shop again in the not too distant future...When you visit their website, you will see what I mean.
This one will be perfect to use on a little table in the garden in Spring/Summer.
This one will look just right in my kitchen
There are quite a few Union Jack designs out there but this one stood out as being different, I really like it.
So lovely to see that Spring is really here at last, the weather this weekend was glorious!
A bientôt!
Isabelle X
Mmm, all nice but like the sugar and spice one best I think!

ReplyDeleteI've got a lot of teatowels. My mum seems to be obsessed with buying them and giving them to me plus I've inherited lots from the old days. I've no ideas how old they are but the printing must have been pretty good then to have lasted this long!xx
ReplyDeleteHi Isabelle,
ReplyDeleteI've just stumbled upon your blog and it's so lovely! I really like that Union Jack tea towel. I'm a total sucker for anything Union Jack. I try to limit myself to one per room!!! Yes, I have to give myself a personal limit, otherwise my house would praboly become a rather odd Union Jack shrine!!
Anyway, I wanted to let you know I'm your new follower.

Hi Isabelle - thank you for visiting me at my blog, it's lovely to meet you! Love the tea towels, especially the rose one - beautiful. Lucky, lucky you living in the west country - I know it well - staying with my mum in Dorset next week to get my 'fix' of west country life!

I agree you can never have too many tea towels. I find myself drawn to them too with thoughts of doing all kinds of projects with them. But even if I don't they are lovely all the same.
